Founded in 1987 as an inspection house for sourcing Indian stone products.
Over time, we grew as merchant exporters for exclusive varieties of Indian natural stone. In addition to our trading activities, we now own and operate quarries of Green Marble and Bianco Stella White Marble.
Our state of the art Production facility in Udaipur, Rajasthan processes these materials to the highest international standards. Here, we also manufacture on imported CNC machines unique stone products for the global construction Industry.
We have over thirty years of experience in the natural stone industry, own three quarries and one manufacturing unit.
Where we Began
The story begins in 1987, during the early years of the stone industry …
Our founder Mr.S.Vishwanath trained with Marble Shoji Kaisha of Japan, before starting Meridian as an inspection house to source natural stone for the world's leading companies. Over the years we have worked closely with famous names like RED Graniti (Eurograniet BV) in Italy, Magratex of Portugal and The Kangli Group from China to name a few.
Catering to the ever-expanding construction industry, during the mid nineties we evolved into a trading house exporting natural stone products sourced from across India.
In 2005 we purchased our first marble quarry, followed by two more in rapid succession. This expanded our reach to cover India’s two stone hubs, Bangalore and Udaipur (Rajasthan).
Our Bangalore team manages trade activities for all types of granite available in southern India, while our facilities in Udaipur source a wide variety of natural stone from India’s northern states.
During this time we noticed an opportunity for the export of finished goods from India and established our own manufacturing plant in Udaipur. This facility has expanded over the years to not only supply finished marble slabs but also manufacture unique stone products for bespoke projects around the world.
